People who live in places like NJ or NY claim that they are so-called experts on PDX? And what gives them the right or authority to actually claim to know what's going on in PDX? I find a lot of charlatans on this forum who claim to be experts on the 'here and now" in PDX, but they live in disgusting east coast places and have no idea what is happening here today. Go on the NJ Forum because that is where you belong.

Unfortunately in an open forum you don't know where people are from, where they have lived, where they moved, if they have updated their location or not. Also people lie. I tend to take what I read at face value. If the information turns out to be helpful I don't care where it came from.

I was bored and Nicky made me laugh.

Most of the posters in the forum seem to have a strong connection to Portland. Learn to take everything with a grain of salt. Always consider a source. I am from "out of town". Yet oddly lived in Portland for over 40 years. I still visit a few times a year. My opinions are just that, mine. So sit back and relax. Most of us get on with our lives everyday by pulling up our "big boy pants" (or big girl pants) and not being so preoccupied with what everyone else is saying or doing.

So in addition to Portland, the OP also hates the east coast.

It seems to me several of the "charlatans" either used to live here, are in the process of moving here or have ties to the area.

A better question is why someone who doesn't live in Portland and has no interest in Portland other than just complaining about it and who hasn't really ever provided any insight about Portland outside of broad stereotypes, would care where someone else is from...

I think we establish that last time he began his nonsensical tirades about Portland. The walls in his mom's basement begin to close in on him and he gets bored.
