That and I'm starting my own business right now since I'm tired of "working for the man." I want to be "the man" for once.
That's really exciting and certainly information worth sharing when you have the time. Best of luck to you.

I've been "hanging out" a lot in the books forum under Arts and Entertainment lately. I finally gave in to seeing what all the fuss is about "Fifty Shades of Grey" and that forum has a lengthy and rather entertaining thread on it.

I peek at other city forums here and there-usually Seattle and San Francisco-when I have those moments of thinking I should just pack up the dogs and go and see what happens. I also peek at the Idaho forums now and then when I wonder if there's anything interesting going on back home.

I'm hoping though that they don't tear down any of the nicer older buildings down SE Grand.
I think we are gonna see a lot of new developments around the new streetcar and light rail lines in the next decade.

That was kind of the point, wasn't it?

Welcome to the dark side.

As to the original post. I am reading almost daily not much to comment on.

Glad to hear that Steve Pickering is just busy and that some of you actually like him. Was worried about his absence although figured he might be in process of moving to Arizona for the winter. Steve seems to annoy many people but I enjoy his perspectives, even if I disagree although I often find some truth in his views, and love the way he riles all the younger set up.

Me too. He adds his own opinion to the mix and like it or not, it opens things up for debate. Sometimes I agree with him and sometimes I don't but that's what makes a forum interesting. Too much nodding the head in agreement makes for dull conversation.

Once you are "the man", you are going to discover that those conservatives aren't as dumb as you thought.
