I live near 70th and Burnside. It's a pretty easy straight shot down Burnside to 20th to the Morrison Bridge. Traffic isn't usually bad for driving even at rush hour, usually can make it in 15-20 minutes. I'd take on a few more minutes if you were coming from 92nd, though it's not that far away really.

In many of the close-in neighborhoods, you can just walk to downtown. I live in the SE Buckman neighborhood and I use to do it all the time.

Cool, good to know! Hopefully I do well at the interview tomorrow.

It seems like biking or a less-than-30-minute bus ride would be totally possible to get to and from work if I work downtown, which is really good.

I'm probably putting the cart before the horse a bit, though! I haven't been offered a job yet after all, hah.

I'd buy that. From the east side of 82nd it's not just the additional blocks, per se, it's the stoplights and traffic (getting on/off 205 on some streets), particularly if you have to get out onto 82nd at any point or cut through side streets. Though it's probably only an extra 5-10 minutes - still pretty feasible in under 30.

Good luck in the interview!

Even if this one doesn't pan out, it's good practice to interview and you've presumably established that you could make something like this work the next time something comes open.

I had the interview today! It went pretty well I think! I'll probably hear back Monday.
