Steve, let's look at it from the other direction.

Tell us what you "don't get", and we will do our best to explain it to you, and to the others that also "don't get it".

That's demonstrably, factually untrue. Haters gotta hate though I guess.

By all means, provide a source. Go for it. Really.

The most forgiving satisfaction numbers Comcast gets from anyone barely put them over half, and the most critical numbers Google has ever gotten are like 80% or something (and that's an amalgam of all they do including their dreadful failure of a social network, their numbers purely as an ISP are outstanding).

To some posters, facts don't count, their personal opinions are all that matter.

It's hard to see customer satisfaction data from Google's internet service because it is in so few markets at the moment. Early reports from Kansas City have high customer service marks though.

Quote:
KANSAS CITY, MO. — Installers show up on time. Headquarters often tells customers when something needs to be fixed without prompting. Unsolicited credits sometimes show up on bills to account for small service glitches.

Talk to a sampling of the earliest Google Fiber subscribers in the nation’s first neighborhood wired to the company’s service, and you find a pretty happy lot.

Are you trying to make this about me or can we stay on topic here. The subject is Google's Pipe Dream.

No, I'm sorry, but the subject is that Google Fiber may be coming to Portland.

I don't think that anyone wants to "make this about you," Steve; it's just that you keep presenting blatant untruths as facts. Why is that?
