You are "Way off Topic". It might be better if you started a new thread than hijack this one.

The quality of Blazer play is not what I expected. I think the young team is being intimidated.

It is what I was afraid would happen, but the plus side is this is just the beginning for this Blazer team. They are only going to get better and more experienced if they keep doing what they have been doing this year.

Actually it was fun watching Portland State play in the NCAA. I am actually looking forward to catching a game at their new arena when that is built.

That's a nice-looking facility, I'm not going to lie.

I agree that college basketball is maybe a little more "pure," and many college teams play their bench a lot more than NBA teams do. NBA seems to be more about star power. NBA refs hardly ever call traveling.

But the Blazers are pretty humble. They're like a renegade college team that everybody's trying to figure out how they got into the Elite 8.

Yeah, there's been more than a few times that Blazer teammates seem to be standing around watching RoLo try to do it all at the basket. Or somehow everyone seems to miss that the opponent at the 3-point line is completely unguarded.

I say that with love, by the way. I want them to do better.

118 Spurs .... 103 Blazers.

I guess it was too much to expect.

They are still a young team with lots of improvements needed, but they are on the right track. They will be much more of a threat come next year.
