There are a number of live-work projects in Portland but none of them mention any prices on their websites. I understand that prices very by size and other factors, but they don't even hint at a price range. They do, however, list size ranges. I'm looking for abut 400 sq ft, about how much might that rent for?

Many leases prohibit a tenant from engaging in a business activity that produces noise or that generates foot traffic.

Assuming that neither are an issue then your ability to work in your apartment will depend on how you furnish it.

Most live-work places have separate spaces for clients and living, hard to find in 400 sq ft.

No telling what rent would be but start by looking at small apartments in your price range.

Thanks, no foot traffic, just shipping and parcels which come and go by mail, so no activity beyond the swift completion of the appointed rounds of couriers. I saw one building that had a smallest unit of 250 sq ft.

Was that the Freedom Center? It's the only one I've seen with units of that size for about $800/mo

I've heard the Freedom Center is quite popular but not the one I found, I'm thinking it might have been the Ford Building or ArtSpace.
