I have a small house cleaning business that I am thinking of expanding to the Hillsboro/Beaverton areas. My business is fully liscensed, bonded, and insured and the girl's that clean for me are well trained, well mannered, and pay attention to details.

Most of the houses we currently clean range between $90 and $145 per cleaning for weekly and bi-weekly cleanings. Are those prices about the same as what others pay in that area?

Thanks!

That and also how thorough the cleaning - just refreshing or moving the furniture to clean underneath and that kind of stuff? With cleaning the windows?

With two girls, that's between 2-4 hours, which means it is actually 4-8 hours of work for a single person. We don't do the inside of the fridge or stove unless it is booked ahead of time. Everything is thoroughly cleaned. Under beds if we can do them without moving everything out, baseboards are dusted, door frames are wiped down. All the bathrooms are cleaned, from top to bottom. Not just wiped down but cleaned and sanitized. Kitchen is fully cleaned, stainless is polished, appliances are cleaned. All floors are vacuumed/mopped and smaller bathroom/kitchen floors are done by hand. Everything is dusted that we can reach from the floor. We do have duster extenders to get cobwebs and fans but we can not use ladders. Windows are spot checked and rotated, window sils are wiped clean. Tracks have to be arranged ahead of time. If you are on a weekly service, furniture (couches, loveseats, recliners)that is easily moved, are moved every other clean. Heavy sectionals are not moved but we vacuum the sides, behind if we can fit the hose, and underneath at the front. Tables are moved as needed. Dining room chairs are always moved for vacuuming underneath.
