Help! My Husband is British. Every easter he talks about the Chocolate Easter eggs he used to get growing up in England. Does anyone know if there is a place here locally that I can buy them? They look like this

I can order them online but at this point it is probably too late.

You can't, at least not if it's real Cadbury (what is sold in the US as Cadbury Creme Eggs isn't the same as the UK version, Hershey's makes them here). From an article from the NYT (behind a paywall):
Quote:
As a result of a settlement with the Hershey’s Company, Let’s Buy British Imports, or L.B.B., agreed this week to stop importing all Cadbury’s chocolate made overseas. The company also agreed to halt imports on KitKat bars made in Britain; Toffee Crisps, which, because of their orange packaging, and yellow-lined brown script, too closely resemble Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups; Yorkie chocolate bars, which infringe on the York peppermint patty; and [...] Maltesers.

Just about every store that sells food will be selling chocolate Easter eggs and chocolate rabbits.

All Cadbury products sold in the US are from the Hershey company. If you want UK specific products you may have to order them. World Foods in Portland may have some. There is a difference. Hershey chocolate is made with a sour tasting milk to get a specific flavor that is not present on European chocolate. I'm not sure how the settlement has effected online ordering or small shops.

I was in Costco yesterday and they are selling a bag full of chocolate Easter eggs from France. They looked pretty, wrapped in foil wrappers. The price seemed pretty reasonable.
