It is definitely an overrated city, like Portlandia, Portland is just a joke of itself.

Sounds like it's time for you to move on to greener pastures.

I think you have made your point, but, not everyone feels the way you do.

Don't thank me, thank this site, anyone can go back and read posts over the years and see people pointing out the real flaws in Portland that idiot Portlanders with rose colored glasses cannot see or refuse to see.

So what do you call people who understand all of Portland's faults (and there are many) and choose to live here anyway because, on balance, they like what the area has to offer more than they dislike it? Oh, you call us "idiots."

You are under no obligation to be objective or try to understand other people on these boards, but you have a pretty immature perspective on what makes people tick.

Would you ever acknowledge that others (like myself) may have lived many other places, landed in Portland, and actually enjoy living here more than the other places we've lived? Be honest.

People who come here and like Portland and accept it's faults is just plagued with the disease that is Portland and have proven they are too lazy or just to stoned to care about fixing anything. That is why Portland is doomed, it will continue to slide into the cesspool it has created for itself.

I am happy with my life if that is what you are saying, but I think this city is a rotting dump that gets worse every year because the bleeding heart liberals allow it to get worse.
