Did anyone else here see this one?

I've haven't eaten at one of these downtown Portland food carts since this horror story played on the evening news.

"Portland police said the meat thieves stuffed the packages into their pants to smuggle it out of the store, and then sold it to cart owners at SW 10th and Washington, where both food carts in this case are located."

Portland food cart owners arrested for meat scheme

Nothing like eating some meat after it's been down the pants of some homeless guy who hasn't bathed in three months.

Yep, most people heard about this back in February, but it makes you wonder what kind of garbage is being fed to people at those nasty roach coaches.

I have eaten, twice, at food carts in the 3rd & Washington area. I could have gotten better food out of a doggie waste bag.

I eat almost daily at food carts downtown--some are great, some aren't(never ate at the ones mentioned in the article that bought the stolen meat though). The ones I like and go to regularly though are far better than the crappy chain restaurants and fast food places that other people probably drag their fat asses to daily.

Yep, a long while ago, way back in February.
Sounds like an exception though.

Old news.
Reached the bottom of the barrel finally?

Is there going to be some kind of "Food Cart Regulation" announcement from city hall in the next week or so?

This is an old news article.....good to see you will be moving out of Portland by the end of the month, I hope you will be much happier with where you move to because you seem to be really upset living in Portland.

Because it is good to see Portland push out quality people to make room for more moochers and trustfund kids.

In this country, quality is defined by how much money you have.

And Portland would rather cater to moochers rather than those coming here to make money. You know, people who pay the taxes.

Portland seems to have plenty of money to spend.

Portland's problems are establishing realistic priorities, making good and quick decisions, and spending the tax money in the correct places at the right times.

Other than that, Portland is a pretty good place to live if you don't go around tripping over hordes of mooching tattooed hipster junkies crawling out of choo-choo trains on their way home to their subsidized housing after selling tainted meat to food cart owners.

Such a struggle.
