That's cool, I have always felt like Hillsboro has done a better job than Beaverton as being the more dominant westside city.

If I ever get back Oregon, I may have to visit Hillsboro. I never went there during my two multi-month stays.

Indeed.

Yet another clickbait article that doesn't actually say much of anything useful.

I can't fathom why anyone would go to Hillsboro unless they work there.

I didn't mean it that way, I just meant it isn't a city I would think someone would want to visit and sight see in. To live in and work in, it is fine for that. And if they continue with smart urban growth, it might be a place worth visiting as well too.

Though I think expansion of light rail in Hillsboro and the Westside is a must.

I heard that it has an excellent array of Korean restaurants.

Default Hillsboro's biggest problem is: it isnt Portland.

Lots of variety close to rural areas and the coast. Its not very urban outside the "core" areas. I never worked out that way so I never lived out there. A lot of my friends do live out that way. I always stay out there when I visit Portland. Definite hispanic influence in Hillsboro. If you have the money to live in a nice area and have no need to be in Portland daily its a nice place to be.
