Hey! How about the awesome weather this week!
Yes, they do. I left Arizona because I was tired of going from one air conditioned place to another 8 months out of the year. I hated getting up and going outside and before the sun was all the way up it was already 88 degrees. If you cant enjoy the climate more than half of the year its a pretty good catalyst to leave.

Sellwood, northeast, southeast, St. Johns, Alberta, anywhere along 82nd, Oregon City. Anywhere on the trimet system.

I am alos not saying in order to be good looking you have to be high maintenance either. LOL, just want to make sure this post is as un bias as possible cause sometimes the locals get too offended.
That is why I point out that the stereotype Portland girl is just a joke, there is no one type of person in Portland or the Portland metro.

All kinds of style live in every city in every state. Obviously it takes all kind to make up the world but Portland has that reputation of being an out cast city that has those stereo types.

I personally wouldn't say the stereo type is incorrect though based off of The type of men and woman that are associated with the city of Portland. Generally People associate the hipster, tattoo, bearded, leg and arm pit hair women, etc.... Type. That is the first thing people think of, not the well groomed hand bag holding woman and clean cut showered men that also live here.

And when they come here, they often times find out that the stereotype is actually false.

Not entirely false. Depends on which area they are in and what time they are in it.

Sure, if someone limits themselves to the smallest part of Portland and specific times, then that might be mostly what they see. That is their fault if that is the only thing they see in Portland.

After spending time in downtown Portland, I realize now that I had been watching the movie "First Blood" all wrong.

Brian Dennehy is the hero of movie. John Rambo is a violent degenerate vagrant like the rest of Portland's downtown population who is up to no good.

The kindly police are just trying to protect the good people of their town and escort Rambo out of the area.

However, the homeless Rambo goes on a killing spree just showing how dangerous these street people are in Portland.

So basically you're trying to tell us that you hate Vietnam vets. Or Sylvester Stallone.

Amazed this thread is still running, but the militia in Burns one got shut down.

It is odd, you would think some guy who lives in Dallas, TX would have a thread like this closed for obvious reasons....
