Wow, new bridges! I had no idea until now. Very cool. Is that the John's Landing area? Or (coming from LO) just past it? Something I found shows new tall buildings (!) there, but Google Maps still shows construction sites. I always liked the westside too and thought John's Landing was especially nice.
So, driving past John's Landing on McAdam going North you will hit the SW Waterfront development with trendy condos and apartments. There is a mixed use area with restaurants and a few shops but the big draw is the OHSU buildings. Walk a little farther and there is the OHSU Dental School and the Trikilum Bridge which is open to pedestrians, bikes and Tri-Met. The bridge takes you to OMSI on the SE quadrant. The SE Quad is getting very hip.

Lots of changes! To be honest, I can't remember much of what was there before other than the Old Spaghetti Factory. Sounds like I will have a lot of new stuff to explore when I get back up there. Thanks!
