On the other hand I'm glad you have C-D as your complaint outlet, clearly because your other half is probably tired of listening to it. Feel free to continue to vent here and spare your family.
Well put. He hasnt even moved yet!

LoL Have you ever lived outside of your bubble utopia of Portland? Southern CA arguably has less humidity than OR and when it's 100 degrees it's still HOT regardless. Dry heat or not even in AZ heat can be miserable.

And your mindset is exactly why OR will never catch up to other state wide economies and why the looming financial collapse will be even worse for Oregonians. You think all there is to progress and development is farming? lol Why don't you go live in Africa!

You sound like a real cheerful fellow and a delight to be around. I'm sure you're going to love it here!

It will only get worse when late November brings rain and gray and shorter days. Who knows, maybe OP is just really exaggerating the insensity of his recent posts so his wife will read them and realize she is making a mistake.

It's sad. I've seen couples break up when one half wanted to move and the other half didn't not long after the move took place. If the unhappy poster is so miserable with the thought of moving to Portland, I hate to think what it will be like when he gets there.

This is seriously true! Please, OP's wife: take pity on your husband and go somewhere else! Portland is acquired taste... it's not for most let alone everyone! I am serious.
