Actually it is Satan preparing the Left Coast for its future.

Maybe, but I know Vancouver, BC was cooler overall the past how many weeks, barely even hitting the 80's. Which is a helluva lot better than the 90-100 degree weather we were having with the smoke in the air.

Not everyday. The other day it was 90F in LA when it was 95F in Vancouver, hotter in the valley where it was 102 F

Cooler overall. You must also understand that the temps given for Vancouver are taken at the airport by the ocean where it's cooler.

Downtown, and in the burbs it's considerably warmer. We were averaging 35C which is 95 F. Yesterday was cooler, today is cooler still, 28C which is 82.4 F.

You do realize that the LA temp you referred to was also taken at the airport next to the cool ocean? apples to apples.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that on some days Vancouver was hotter than LA.

No, actually it does not change any facts...Vancouver was not hotter than LA last week on any day. I realize this is a thread about Portland but you are simply wrong without making up your own facts. Feel free to name the date it was supposedly hotter, should be easy enough. Have a nice day.

Go look at Accuweather right now. It looks like it's going to be 15 -20 degrees hotter in western Oregon this week than in L.A. This is the year when we first heard of the heat dome. Which will now become a recurrent deadly natural disaster like hurricanes and tornadoes elsewhere.

And of course drought, drought, and more drought.

Excessive heat warning for the entire valley. That heatwave we had a few weeks ago it was hotter here in PDX than it was in Las vegas. Glad I finally got an a/c unit.

Stay cool everyone.
