OK, I found a place, in Lake Oswego. I know, its not in the city, but I feel ultimately its better for my kids. I found an awesome place in the Beaumont-Wilshire area, it was a 1939 cottage that was remodeled to restore a lot of the original style, very well done, but then when I looked up the school I didn't think that would be acceptable for my son. I found some other nice places but each seemed to have something wrong, like a child molester living right down the street, or other various things.

In the end I realized I wasn't going to find the perfect place in one weekend, so its possible I will be moving again in a year or two.

Thanks to everyone for the advice, I'll be there next week.
