Portland’s problem is a bunch of unemployed white hipsters with nothing else to do but protest somebody else’s causes.
There's no doubt the unemployment from the Trump Virus is causing young people angst!

Well said! That's what I have seen in Portland over the past 10 years.

to be honest the violence is drowning out the message, which is a worthy cause. I'm pretty sure some of the black leaders in Portland have voiced frustration with how the violence is engulfing their message. Some of the black leaders and personalities in Portland have led big protests (I think Dame Lillard of the Blazers led one at some point) but the media just focuses on the violence and riots night-after-night, not on the peaceful protests that keep happening. If these people truly want some change then they should stop being violent, and just protest, so the media will stop covering violence (which turns people against the message) and cover the cause.

Also, I've heard a lot in the media with the Pacific NW Youth Liberation Front. Anyone know what they are and what they're doing? It appears that the media thinks they're the instigators.

How is this the Trump virus? He certainly didn't cause it. And while he disagreed with a lockdown, he pretty much left each state free to set its own policy.

Wonder how these riots will impact the virus surge?

Of course it won’t have anything to do with the virus surge even if it actually does, as 1000s+ openly congregate because their otherwise empty lives need something to do...meanwhile we get to see cardboard people cut outs as “fans” in open air stadiums..no fans allowed to watch a MLB game naturally...open air rioting and protesting is fine though.

Let’s replace the “protesters” with cardboard cutouts, especially in Portland...so disposable! lol
