My husband, an Oregon native, was dying to get out in 1988. Now it's 2007 and all he wants is to go back.

I went to school in Superior (the twin city of Duluth) and you need to do a lot more than just put on a sweater for those -28° temps. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Default Help with areas in Portland Or.

Hello Everybody,

I am in the Navy going recruiting in Portland my station will be in Gresham. What at is a good area to live within a 10 mile radius of Gresham? Somewhere, where I don’t have to worry about my car getting broken in to… I am moving from Japan where I have lived for the past 6 years. I am from a small town in CA can someone please point me in the right direction my price range is around $1200 thank you

I live in so. cal and housing is so high. I rent a 1 bedroom for 960. I did some research and found that i can get a 2 bedroom house for about the same price. I am actually really close to packin my bags and going to portland

Hey, not so fast. A two bedroom house for around $960 if Portland? Where is this gem? Where did you see it? One bedroom apartments are going for that price in many if not most neighborhoods.

I agree. That really doesn't sound right unless it's way out in the burbs, or in a really dodgy neighborhood (we really have few of them).
Going rate for a two bedroom is around $1300 or so.
