So since I'm moving back to the NW after a 25 year absense, I'd love to know if my fav eateries are still there and are still good:

There's a couple of other places I loved and I could still drive right there but the name is lost.
Also, where's the best place to get fresh grilled salmon and halibut these days? The seafood is one of the things I miss the most along with yummy fresh rasberries. Down here in GA everything is fried to the nth degree
My mouth starts watering when I think of moving back. For xmas this year a friend who is also stuck here and trying to get back to the PacNW had fresh froz halibut and salmon shipped to me...man o man what a treat and 1/2
Does anyone remember going to the White Eagle Cafe...BEFORE they foo foo'd it up? When they used to serve peanuts, dump a bowl on the table and then clean it off by swiping their arm across the table and launching the shells on the floor...LOL...OK so I'm tellin' my age a bit here
