Default Tualatin

Hope this helps a bit; I live near Tualatin (and go almost weekly for business appts.). -- It seems to be a very beautiful, lush area with very nice neighborhoods, and some fairly 'new-looking' schools. There is plenty of business, retail and up-to-date medical facilities (at least it appears that way to me). Tualatin is close to freeways and access in/out seems fairly easy. I don't believe they have "mass-transit" in that area as yet (other than bus). It is close enough to Portland allowing you access to museums, theatre, etc. etc., -- yet Tualatin appears to have a comfortable 'small-town' feel. As I say, I don't live there -- these are just my impressions as a visitor -- Hope that helps a bit. I'm sure folks from the areas you listed will offer up good advice. Best of luck !!

I love Murry Hill myself, and Beaverton near the hills is very nice. I hear Tigard gets good reviews but it's second hand.

One of the best average areas to live in Beaverton is centered on Brockman and Greenway. There or around there. That could include Murrayhill or Greenway - the vicinity.

If I was single and renting again, I'd be looking at the apartments down Teal Blvd. west of Murray. Not east - something about Sterling Point does not appeal to me. There is a complex behind the Murrayhill grocery store, whatever that street behind is, and that small complex is clean looking. Then back to the one on Teal, it has a driveway west of the pond and is back in the trees. Not cheap, but not outrageous.

One place that's not really upscale, but fits lower rent, is the corner of Hall & Greenway. Basic, fairly clean and Albertson's is a walk across the street. But I'd rather have a home near there than be in an apartment.

Not sure of the facilities, but I think the first place I'd look at, are the apartments up on Sexton Mountain above Brockman and east of Murray. If they have the mountaintop view I suspect, that would be very nice.

Lombard x Allen is one of the last places in Oregon I'd live.

Apartment living near Beaverton Mall seems like it would be the pits too.
