I had the gagging thing when I was pregnant as well, I couldn't brush my teeth OR swallow my pregnancy vitamins for most of my first trimester. It was awful but OH so worth it.
I remember when I was first pregnant before I had taken a test, about the time I should have started my period, I felt so ILL I know I had to either be pregnant or dying from something awful, I was so sick. Luckily it didn't stay that way.
Congrats on the baby. I hope you will keep us up to date.
Thank you! I haven't hit the day when I am supposed to get my period yet, but I'm already a little queasy... I'm on the hunt for preggie pops and ginger gum. I work in an accounting firm at the front desk and the busy season starts in a few weeks, right through morning sickness time. I'm not really supposed to tell people I'm pregnant until I hit the end of the first trimester, so I need to find some way to hide it!
Oh, and I'm taking two Flinstone's vitamins every morning as my prenatals, the doctor had me doing it for a few months now so my body would be healthy. They're the only ones I can take because my stomach rejected the other kinds even before I was trying to get pregnant!
Just a tip, when I was pregnant I would throw up immediately if I took my prenatal vitamins in the morning. I learned that if I took them later in the day after I had eaten they didn't make me sick.
Congratulations! Hope you have a healthy happy pregnancy! Keep us posted.
