Ok, so i took another dollar store test this morning, and there was nothing. No faint line at all... But when I looked at it later there was pink on the sides of the strip by the T window... I do not have insurance right now, I'm in the process of getting it so going to the doc at this moment is kind of out of the question.. If I am pregnant I conceived on either the 9th or the 17th.. If it was the 17th it would be to early to tell right? So I'm gonna wait till the 16th, 14 days past the 17th and re test.. I don't feel pregnant, I don't even feel like my period is coming... but my period is late, and my cervix has not dropped... This is also the first month off of birth control so it may take a lil while for my period to start again, right?
I certainly wouldn't go by "feeling pregnant" - I never felt pregnant at the beginning. No nausea nothing. I felt great until, months later when I just felt tired and hungry. I would wait few days before I tried again (or, I don't know, does Planned Parenthood provide this service and is there one near you?). Meanwhile, I would certainly behave as if you ARE pregnant (with regards to alcohol consumption etc) until you find out otherwise. Good luck - I hope you get the outcome you hope for.

If you dont have insurance i would go to family planning. They could do a test and you pay what you can afford. I didnt have insurance when i first got pregnant and i went to a local doctors office (which took lower income families) and got tested there. It cost no more then $15.
In reguards to your birth control you could be missing your period or be late because you have stopped taking it. Also you said you saw a faint line quite some time after the test. I dont know the exact recommended time but i know with pregnancy tsts they say read them right away but no longer than say 15 mins (again not sure of the exact time) after you have taken it.
If you're working on getting insurance - I WOULDN'T go see the dr until you have everything in place. Otherwise, you may end up having your pregnancy not covered as a pre existing condition. That may still happen - but if its this early, you still have a chance.
If you're pregnant, then you're pregnant. Eat right, take a vitamin, and don't drink. You don't really need the full 9 1/2 months to prepare for a baby. I was 5 months along before I found out I was pregnant with my first child - normal periods, hadn't gained much weight at all, etc. My stomach had been feeling a little queasy (or so I thought) and then one day I'm sitting there, watching my stomach move when I finally realized that I might be pregnant. (I admit, I was only 18 with my first child, otherwise the whole "shifting" stomach thing probably would have been a dead giveaway, right?)
Another thing to consider - people always want to know as soon as possible, but there is a pretty high percentage of pregnancies that terminate very early - before a person would ever really know or suspect they were pregnant, unless they were really keeping track. So, depending on your reasoning for needing to know right away - you may want to give yourself a few more weeks to get your results. You already know your possible dates of conception, so those won't change, it'll just be easier to know for sure - your HCG levels rise pretty quickly once they really get started!!
Places like Birthright, that help pregnant mothers and babies, usually do free pregnancy tests. This is an option, other than planned parenthood, for a free pregnancy test.
I went 2 da clinic and they did a prgnancy test it came out negative, then i did a home pregnancy test and it came out positive rite away could i be prgnant i need some help??
ok so i took a cvs brand pregnancy test, and the control was bright blue.. the other window had the very very faintest line.. i could hardly see it till i put it up to the light.. it wasnt blue it was a light light gray color.. anyone ever used cvs brand and this happened??!
I've used CVS brand pregnancy kits and have also come up with a faint line. The result is I have two kids. Best wishes to you!
I used 2 CVS brand test. The first one came up with a bright but very thin line in like 3 minutes, then I took a Clearblue digital and it said not pregnant. The next day I took the 2nd CVS brand and it showed a fatter very faint blue line. Then later I took a First Response and it was completely negative. So either CVS tests are misleading the other tests aren't picking up soon enough? Any opinions?
I have twice had very faint blue lines on CVS pregnancy tests. Both times I was pregnant. I retested with other brands and those were also vaguely positive (my period was only a day or two late).
I would wait a day or two and retest with another brand or get a blood test done at the doctor's office.
