A 19.2 lb baby boy was born by C-section to a mother in Indonesia. The high birth weight was attributed to high glucose levels in the mother due to diabetes.
Record-holding 19.2-pound baby boy draws crowds | San Francisco Examiner (http://www.sfexaminer.com/world/61406052.html - broken link)

OMG...I would have been totally immobile my entire pregnancy! I thought I carried a biggie at 9 lbs 13 oz.

Mine were 6+ pounds and they made a believer out of me. 19 pounds would be like giving birth to a six month old...Yikes!

She had a c-section, but still her uterus must have been on the verge of tearing, scary. I saw the picture of the baby last night next to an average sized newborn, geez.

I had c-sections with both of mine. But I can't even imagine what they would have to do to your tummy to get a 19 pound baby out! Ouch .

I wonder what the combined weight of Octomom's babies were. Did they even approach 19 lbs? This woman had to prior "smaller" babies...9+ and 10+ pounds! What amazes me is she did not suffer from preeclampsia with that diabetes. She definitely is a candidate for a tummy tuck.

I can't even imagine what she must have felt like during her last trimester!!! How sad it is that the world is hearing about it after the fact, but there was no proper medical help during the fact.
