Hi everyone...
So last week I had the biggest surprise of my life...after getting off the pill for 1 month, thinking it would be another 5-6 before I got pregnant...I had a positive pregnancy test!! Only thing is, I have NO symptoms at all. No nausea, no tiredness, no sore breasts...nothing. I've since taken 3 more pregnancy tests...all positive. It's been over 6 weeks since the 1st day of my last period.

I have an appt with my OB in 2 weeks for an ultrasound. I was actually AT the OB when I had the first positive test, and she didn't want to do anything until 8-10 weeks (which is why I made an apt 2 weeks from today) I just keep wondering why I'm not "feeling pregnant" at all. It's worrying me, and I know I can't do anything about it, and won't know anything for sure for another 2 weeks when I go for my US, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. I'm trying to avoid getting all excited about being pregnant before I hear a heartbeat on the US, but it's hard not to! Just wish I knew now!

Anyone else had no symptoms at 5-6 weeks pregnant??

Thanks!

It is perfectly normal not to have any symptoms. I felt completely fine for all my pregnancies until I started showing and getting bigger, then those symptoms were just the extra weight that I felt.

Congratulations!

I didn't have symptoms for awhile and it's normal for the doctor not to see you right away. Congrats

My mom had no pregnancy symptoms when she was pregnant with girls, but was sick as a dog with boys. When I had my son I was only tired and emotional. Everyone is different! Congratulations!!

Congratulations! Completely normal not to have any symptoms at this stage. With my first pregnancy I didn't have symptoms until around the 8th week...exhaustion. There is nothing more reassuring or magical than that first ultrasound where you can see that little heartbeat and have validation that there is someone in there!

I didn't have any symptoms either. I didn't have any at all apart from a growing belly and kicking and movement and towards the end a lot of swelling (yuck). Consider yourself lucky.

Default Thank you! :-)

THANK YOU all so much for your reassurance! I do feel much better hearing all your stories and similar situations! It just seemed like all my friends who have been pregnant have had some kind of symptoms (most of them felt AWFUL from soon after or even before they found out). I do consider myself lucky...but since I haven't had the first US yet...I almost wish I felt SOMETHING so I would know I really am pregnant!!

Thank you all again! And here I go on this crazy adventure!
