Does Prescott have any public INDOOR pools that you can join and use daily?
I do mostly water jogging and water aerobics and little lap swimming. What would be the name of the place? And does anyone know the cost of joining for a year?

www.prescottymca.org Looks like $36 a year for one adult, they do have an indoor pool.

Oh, thanks for the info!! I was wondering how much it was for 1 year. I'm happy that it's a reasonable price. $36, can't beat that! I'll try it the next time I'm near the YMCA, I'll go in and get a membership.

$36 a year? That's a positive steal! What's wrong here? No water IN the pool???? But I do wonder who funds this? The city? That is just an incredibly low price...wow!! Sign me up!!!

OK, here it is: http://prescottymca.org/index.php?op...d=22&Itemid=97

$36 must be the sign-up fee. For one adult it would be $411 a year--and that is still really, really reasonable, folks. A good deal in Prescott.

You can also try Yavapai College. My wife swims there. A four month pass is around $60 or $4/swim. If you want to pay by the use, you can swim in the small hotel pool at the Windham hotel on Hwy 69 for $3/swim.

Wonder why that area is so cheap to join indoor pools? Maybe so many pools are there that they have to keep it low?
You guys have such a deal and I'll bet you don't even know it. I have looked all over the country as to where to move to and checked prices on indoor pools alot, so I realize what a steal you have there really.
Where I am now, tho, I got a $30 coupon, am over 62 and paid--for a great pool and workout center that really shines--$198 for the year if I go between the hours of 1 pm-3 pm (when mostly it is Srs. there, so everyone knows each other = it's cool for us!). Now that is the best deal I have found so far.
But you guys still have good pricing on indoor pools.

Yeah, I went on their site and it's still too much for me...No, I'll just stick to what I've been doing on my own...

I don't know of any indoor pools at all in Prescott Valley. Comfort Suites claims to have a heated outdoor pool. I don't know if they let non-guests pay to swim there.

Thank you. I will probably use Yavapai College's pool then. I am in PV and am looking for something closer. Well, I'll have to drive to Prescott then. Thanks again
