I've a feeling that we might see Atlanta again this year.

Atlanta was running the ball down the Lions' throats. Detroit had no answer to their running game at all. Some real nifty plays by the Motown Cats' defense, along with Prater's leg, kept them in the game. The heroics from Stafford & Co are mentioned last here 'cuz it's become quite normal any more.

Let's face it. That was a well earned tough road win for the Falcons.

Lions at Vikings next week. A very important game and a preview of Thanksgiving.

Mike Valenti had a great opening this morning. Called out the NFL and IMHO called it correctly saying that same call doesn't go against the Patriots or Packers.

Audio « CBS Detroit

That is the bottom line. The NFL is a bloody joke. Still VERY salty about that loss. Hopefully the lads can bounce back against the Viqueens #DetriotVsEverybody

Well....11 points off turnovers. Turned out to win the game. Vikings' defense doesn't suck. Lions' defense sucks less. Tough bitchy scratchy game.

So close to our first 100 yard rusher in a long time. Great effort from Abdullah today before getting dinged up. Questionable play calling at crucial moments just like last week. A bit too conservative in the final minutes. Escaped with a W. Time to bounce back against a team that just escaped New England with a win.

Wow, that was a tough, ugly win but we'll take it. Feel horrible for Cook. Hope he recovers quickly. 3-1. On to the next on... #OnePride

Ebron sucks the life out of the Lions. The early TD drop is setting the stage for an inept offensive effort. A nice TD run from Dr. Zenner is the highlight for the Lions. Stafford is doing all he can but drops and dumb penalties are a difference maker.

Our defense played OK. That's not good enough in this league. Fine against the run, but Newton carved up the secondary. Offense played with fits and starts.....reminded me of my first car. It looked cool and got me to work most of the time. But I had to use other means of transportation to get to Florida. Just not reliable enough......

Ebron is going to lose his starting job to Fells. Plus, that rookie fourth round pick out of Toledo is gonna see more playing time. Caldwell's notsoringing endorsement of E.E. summed it up: "We'll keep working with Eric."

Our coach will never call out a player, even if he has hands of stone.

Lions vs. Saints next week.

Let's take our rose colored glasses off now. Two of the better teams pretty much beat us up this year. The scores just don't show it because Detroit is competitive. So....right now.....we're the best mediocre team in the league.

Ngata is out with an elbow injury. Lions have signed Datone Jones. The bye after New Orleans will be much needed.

Detroit Lions sign defensive lineman Datone Jones
