The Lions haven't had to worry about place kicking duties for 22 years.

He turned down a cool million. Not too shabby for a 43 year old kicker. I think he should have taken the deal but I admire his loyalty to the team and fans by not playing another season or two in another uniform. He feels he's worth more money but won't go elsewhere to get it. Respect the loyalty.
