Yeah, that is very sad indeed. With JJ remaining as GM it really doesn't matter who the next head coach is...he won't last long. In the meantime, I almost feel sorry for Garrett. He's going to have his hands full, this team is an utter train wreck.

Jerry should fire himself. he is the one who picked those underchievers. Since 2008 he has had 10 draft picks either released of traded to other teams. Some still on the practive squad on other teams even!!!!

I don't believe him. It is already seeping out that he will give up the GM duties after this season. This season has been extremely a humbling experience for him.

Jerry Jones has completely embarrassed himself. He did everything he could to get the most amazing sports facility in the nation built, then proceeded to field a team that makes the 0-8 Bills look good. Some of his high powered boosters are not very happy at all, tons of people have tons of money at stake with the Cowboys. I think Jones will hire a GM finally, and if the Cowboys are smart, JG will only be the interim coach, they need a real head coach next year. They have had enough of the coordinator turned head coach experiments blow up in their face. Hopefully they have learned their lesson by now.

I think with his ego JJ will go after a big name coach...the usual suspects...Gruden, Cowher, etc. But he will have to give up alot of control to get one of them, which maybe now after this year's fiasco, he will be willing to do. IMO, the team laid down the past few games in order to get him fired.

I heard Wade never had a losing season with the Cowboys...boy, talk about "what have you done for me lately". The Cowboys should be grateful they didn't get Shanahan, there's another piece of work.

Who would you consider the top coach in the NFL this year (considering how mediocre every team is)?

I'm not surprised to hear that Wade was fired. The writing was on the wall.

I also heard a rumor that Cowher is the front runner next year. The Cowboys would be LUCKY to get him! He's a great coach. I can tell y'all one thing--there is NO WAY Cowher will put up with JJ's meddling into his coaching! If he get's "The Chin", he will have to learn to butt out of the coaching end!

Jerry needs to clean house and turn the team over to a real coach. He keeps hiring coaches he can control and that has not worked for him.The only way the cowboys get back to glory is by jerry backing 0ff and let a good coach do their job. I don't think Garrett is the guy either he has failed as an off coordinator in my eyes...Plus the fact the control effect jerry has will not change and that has to be done with to move forward.

I heard Cowher has no interest in the cowboys and that Gruden is the front runner if they make a move.
