I can't wait for this game! Best game so far for the AFC. The Pats have improved their defense since their loss to the jets. Plus Bardy is hands down the better QB. I'll put my money on the Patriots!

How did all that work out the first time??????????

That's an easy question! You see, it's this way: Patriot fans will never admit that the Jets have improved (dramatically). They're busy looking down their noses at us, and what happened the first time the teams met this season "doesn't count." Go ahead, ask Patriot fans in this forum. They'll tell you!

Yeah, you're right! Other than the part about the Jets improvement.

Don't let me stand in the way of your enjoyment. There's a week to go until they take the field again--I can't imagine why I think you haven't even gotten started yet. But I'm not going to participate in your little game. Just remember that the more of this stuff you post, the likelier it is that I'm going to have comments to make if the Jets win. Again.

Fair enough. You know deep down in the places you don't like to talk about at Jets parties, you want the Pats to win........you need them to win!

Both are great teams, but the experience will prevail for the Pats. This game is by far the best one this year, so far... It will be a tight game, but I think the Jets give away a couple turnovers in the second half. It seems the Patriots first half defense typically gets slaughtered, then adjustments are made and they improve in the second half.

The Patriots have three stats here that are getting my attention.

They lead the AFC East with a 9-2 record. YET:

They are last in the conference in total defense, giving up an average of 399 yards a game.

They are also around the middle of the pack (7th) in the conference in offense.

But they lead the conference and the league itself in scoring with 334 points.

The Jets are 6th in the conference in offense and 2nd in the conference (third in the league) in total defense.

Like Luke9686 said, probably the best game of the season. A field goal probably wins it. And that could come in OT as well.

I think the Pats win at home tonight. The Jets have struggled to win the last few weeks. Unless they can pressure Brady while still keeping the running game under control, it's going to be a long night. Green-Ellis and Woodhead are dangerous as runners and receivers and Welker seems to be at 100% again. I'm rooting for the Jets, but I see a Pats victory.
