Redskins owner Dan Snyder seeks dismissal of City Paper writer

Quote:
Snyder has objected to the article that detailed some of his controversial actions as team owner and other reports about him in the weekly publication, and has threatened legal action against the newspaper. He also is seeking the dismissal of the article's author, staff writer Dave McKenna.
Apparently Mr. Snyder has a problem with people holding him accountable for his moves.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to be a Redskin fan and have to live with that guy.

Isn't that so typical of DC's boy wonder. What a cowardly jerk. I hope 'skins fans find a way to FIRE SNYDER.

Good job Dan - because what is printed in a free alternative paper in the nations capitol near super bowl week is going to gain national attention

Oh wait, no it wasn't ... it would of been forgotten about in a week and for those who despise you there is nothing new in there for them

Now your actions have made this a national story, increasing the # of people who will read the article and see just how great of an owner you are

It's decision making like this that has made you a complete public failure as a team owner

One of the things that really got my attention regarding Snyder was his initial press conference when he bought the Washington Redskins. One of the first things he said as the press conference began was "First off, I would like for you to address me as Mr. Snyder."

Man I hope McNabb is out of Washington this year so I can really root for his team and buy myself a #5 jersey.

And I was just starting to maybe give the guy a break (not thinking he was more than 20% or so of the team's problems...what with all the low character players we've had, poor coaches, poor GMs tough schedule, etc.)

But this is really lame. Especially the antisemitism charge about the devil horns. Afterall, this guy is badly critisized by everyone everywhere, including in his own shrine! Now he misreads the City Paper and attacks.

What a female hygiene product he is...
