Everyone seems ready to crown New England the Super Bowl champions 2 weeks into the season. Can they do it? Of course. Will they do it? Perhaps. NFL history is littered with great teams who have failed to win a championship however.
They started this whole thing by beating the heavily favored Rams. Remember when the Vikings and Steelers were 15-1? No title that year. The Colts had the best team 2 years ago, but won last year, when the Chargers were the best team.
You just never know in football. An upstart team could emerge. They could go 15-1 and get upset in the post season. Key injuries could derail them. It will be interesting to see how the season develops. There's no guarantees (unless you're the Yankees who have only won 5,327 division titles). Tom Brady could end up with 10 super bowl rings, or he may never reach the big game again.
If you want to crown them, then crown them. The Patriots are who we thought they were....
LOL but really im crownin them 16-0 GO PATS!!!!
