No one with an ounce of football knowledge could say he is all hype. I'm not ready to put him in the hall of fame, but he certainly has that potential.
He's the real deal. Of course if you listen to Brett favre Aaron Rogers is a product of the talent around him. Gimme a prime Rogers over a prime favre anyday of the week.
Also, Rodgers at this stage in his career is a productive runner. Favre was not, not on this level, anyways. Rodgers, after Vick and Freeman, was the most productive QB rusher last year. Rodgers can read off of, and check down from 4 and 5 receiver splits, then take off and run if the matchup is not there.
His natural throwing ability makes him more than hype. If you watch him and the composure he has in the pocket and his ability to throw any pass and do it with the natural motion of his body is just amazing. He has the potential to be one of the best QBs to play the game.
How can anyone say he's hype? He's already won a super bowl and his team is 7-0 right now the year after (No Super Bowl jinx or whatever the next yr).
Anyone who thinks he's hype is named Brett Favre. Guaranteed he's making the Green Bay fans forget Favre really fast if they haven't already.
