Very good win last night, the D was impressive! Browner should be called Bruiser, although that was a big hit he laid upon Green, it looked pretty legit to me.

I started a thread today about the Patriots which was closed, because somehow in my search I missed this one. Here's what I said:

First, I am awaiting the backlash - Spygate, Cheatriots, CryBrady - I chuckle at those to this day.

In my estimation, after watching them lose to Green Bay, and finish the gauntlet of playing first placed teams with only one close loss, this team never ceases to amaze me. Sure, they haven't won a Super Bowl in 10 years (let the blame game from Spygate begin), but that's because their defense has sucked....until now.

Revis is truly amazing to watch. And Browner is brutal on the other side. It leaves the rest of the backfield to play their positions properly.

Gronk is a beast, and healthy the best tight end to ever play the game. Edelman is also phenomenal.

Brady is one of the best ever to play the game at his position. I don't believe in this position there will ever be a greatest ever, but only a select few who belong in the argument - Montana, Manning, etc. In a few more years to build his resume, Rodgers will be there.

Understanding that any team can lose "On any given Sunday", no team in the AFC scares me anymore with the defense we have. The Patriots find ways to win, and at this juncture I believe they will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl against either Green Bay or Seattle.

I'm not sure about that...better than Tony Gonzalez and/or Ozzie Newsome? Don't know.....

In the modern era, yes, but impossible to compare to hall of famers from years past.

When he's healthy (which has been his career downfall), I have never seen a tight end like him. I loved Russ Francis back in the day and though he was great. But watching Gronk and his ability to catch, YAC, and the difficulty it is to take him down - I honestly don't see an equal, as great as those tight ends of the past were.

Just my opinion.

On the surface, that is correct. The Patriots should beat all 3 of these teams. But this is in the NFL and any team can trip someone up, so hopefully the Patriots play hard to lock down the #1 seed and a valuable bye week to start the playoffs.

This defense smells like the defenses of their SB runs (3 out of 4). Last years team gets to the AFC Championship somehow without this sort of D. Gronk is healthy, and Lafelle is really good. The ingredients are there.
