This was hardly a perfect or dominating performance. The Hightower safety in the 3rd quarter really seemed to jump start the team.
At times Brady looked uncomfortable with pressure coming - if he were a bit more mobile then he could have easily ran for some first downs.
In any event it was a good win and it gets them to 5-1 and in a good spot for a tough string of upcoming games. At Pittsburgh on Sunday is going to be a tough game.
Brady is plenty mobile "in the pocket"...I don't want my 39 year old QB "running for first downs"
If Brady can "look uncomfortable" while going 29-35 for 376 yards 3 TDs and 0 INT with a passer rating of 140 I hope he "looks uncomfortable" every week
Pittsburgh Sunday isn't going to be so tough with Ben on the bench and a defense that has looked soft...
Nice payback game for the Pats sticking it to the Bills
That wasn't Jacoby back there today....little bit too much for the Bills to handle but they did get to Brady a lot today, he doesn't get enough credit for his toughness
With all the tough talk from the Bills during the week I liked the tone setting hits from the defense, secondary and Hightower in particular were bringing it today
Gotta love conference games...
Bye comes at a good time get Bennett's ankle right and get the D tightened up...
Tom looked pretty darn good in the pocket when under pressure - several times he moved the pocket and made some big throws.
7-1 and heading into the bye. Things are looking pretty good for the Patriots. They have Seattle coming into Foxborough which is going to be a very tough game. Apart from Seattle, they have a favorable schedule heading into the huge road trip to Denver in week 15. There's a pretty good chance they could be 12-1 heading into the game with the Broncos.
Patriots just traded Jamie Collins to Cleveland for a Compensatory 3rd round pick.
I feel bad for Jamie, he goes from a team sitting at 7-1 and a good shot to make it to the Super Bowl to a team sitting at 0-8 and showing no signs of promise this season.

Bad trade. He's one of their most athletic players on the D.
But they weren't going to pay him, he turned down a 11 mil a year offer. Still, this a potentially SB winning team and this is a blow.

I could see Bill Belichek saying "any of you other fools wanna get paid? Remember what happened to Jamie!"
Beauty of a game coming up with lots of storylines.
SB rematch...
Brady vs Wilson...the GOAT vs the best of the young guns IMO
Gronk vs Graham...and who covers Graham with Collins gone and Graham has been on fire...
Sherman vs Gostkowski....maybe?
Carroll vs Belichick.....best coach in NFL vs the guy that chose to throw on the 1 with Beast Mode available...
Can't wait until Sunday night
