We ran over Buffalo for the first win of the season. Finally I have seen what I was waiting for since week 1: 40+carries/game. With 4 RB's like ours we need to keep running the ball, maintain possession and with thyat we will help also Henne as play-action passes will be effective.
Brown and Williams are doing a great job this year and the offensive line is starting to perform.
Defense was good but need to re-evaluate as eveything went smooth and Buffalo is a team that - like the Fins - struggle when they need to come back from 10+ points.
We will see what kind of team we have in the month or so as we will play the Jets twice, the Saints and the Patriots.
As usual, a few quick points/thoughts:
- PLAY CALLING finally: 45 carries and 22 passes is what I want to see, we have 4 backs who can all run the ball very well. Let's do the same against the Jets and open up some play-actions to go deep to Ginn Jr
- HARTLINE: 1st career TD for the rookie, who caught two balls. He's not in the spotlight much, but he is giving a nice contriubution and he's already one of the best route executioners we have.
- CAMERON WAKE - Leader in sack in the CFL, he showed ability and aggressivness yesterday. Hopefully we will see more of him and now we now we are well covered for the after-Porter.
- SECONDARY: 2 INT's, the first two of the year, and a decent games with a few misses here and there. Buffalo wasn't a tough test because they were trailing early so they had to throw the ball and they were predictavble. Gibril Wilson also yesterday managed to miss an easy tackle.
- HENNE: the rookie was posied enough, but he needs to become more aware of the surroundings, as he tends to get caught by surprise by blitzes. His first game as a starter was okay and the fact that we ran it 45 times helped him. He went 14 of 22, more than everything he did not turn it over.
To be honest, jazzy Jeff, a loss in Buffalo would not come as a shock to me; I mean, right now the two teams are on similar levels.
In the meantime the frigging Jets got edwards from the Browns and Pace is coming back right on time to play the Fins next Monday. This is going to be a tough one.
Great win for the Dolphins! We came out and played great O, and showed the Jets D, how we run this Wildcat! Henne, looks great; I think we will see a lot of great things from him. Now, it is on to the Saints. Now that is going to be tough! Lets get 'em!

I can't wait to see Patrick Turner the 3rd round pick from USC healthy. You add the wildcat and a 6ft 5 receiver on the outside and all those field goals will turn to touchdowns.
