DewDropInn-I knew I could count on ya for the Rams trivia! Regarding deacon Jones, he is on NFL Films as much as any player in the league. He said the reason he changed his name to Deacon is that when he signed with the Rams as a 14th round pick with a rookie salary of $5000 (!), he needed to do something to stand out, especially when he opened up the Los Angeles phone book and saw all the David Jones listed! So he decided to be Deacon. And yep-the guy was a hell of a player, listed at #15 of the "Top 100 Players In NFL History", according to the NFL Channel.
