Omaha is just a sports crazy market. Give the citizens beer, affordable tickets and something to call their own and people show up. I am just guessing, but the league probably averaged around 14-15 thousand per game.
I think it just shows that there is a place for a well run league in smaller non NFL markets. I have no doubt a feeder league attached to the NFL in 10 cities could average 20-25 thousand per game. Make it affordable and an above average product and people will show up.
