He mentioned Lions running back Jerome Harrison in his comments, having the following to say about his former teammate (via the Cleveland Plains-Dealer):
"I still go over to his house every now and then and talk to him. He's doing pretty bad. He's in and out of the hospital with seizures. They just don't want the same thing to happen to me."
I wish Jerome a full recovery. To think, if the failed trade did not happen, Jerome may have died from his tumor.
He never did [pan out but in 2009 Jerome Harrison had one of the craziest 4 or 5 game runs I have ever seen. His year end totals were nothing special as he didn't even break 1000 yards that year but must have had 800 in the final four games of the season. He, Cribbs and the defense literally carried the Browns to a four game win streak despite some of the worst quarterbacking I have ever witnessed (including the pee wee team I coached that went 0 - 8).
Hope he recovers and can live out a full life. Wonder if his condition had anything to do with the fact that we always was rather erratic and inconsitant?
