Okay, I know I'm going to get a lot of razzing and hate on this but I love the Dallas Cowboys. Always have been a fan of their since I was a baby (as long as I can remember). My father always watched a Dallas Cowboys game every time they were on.
But I still love Roger Staubach (even though he's from the 70's and long retired), but he's still my #1 favorite player of all-time.
Cowboys. A long time ago it was the Houston Oilers.
I know. A long time ago I was also a big fan of the Houston Oilers (my hometown). I was pissed when they left and went to Tennessee. Now they are the Houston Texans and it's just not the same without THE GO BLUE signs and such. Such a disgrace.
95% of Steeler fans haven't stepped foot in Pittsburgh. They all jumped on the Steeler bandwagon in the 70's when they were a great team.
Same thing goes with the Cowboys. Why is it that the two dominant teams of the 1970's (Steelers and Cowboys) have the two largest fan bases today? Hmmmm.
(oh, and EVERY team has a "nation" called to it. Not just the Steelers)

Exactly correct. I have met exactly "1" genuine Steeler fan in my life. A guy who hails from Monroeville, Pa.
I have met exactly "none" Steeler fans who have ANY knowledge of that franchise prior to 1972. We're talking 40 years here.
The "Steeler Nation" is nothing by a huge collection of front-runners.

Hmmm, I wonder who all those fans are in the stands every Sunday in Pittsburgh then? Our games are always sold out. The stadium holds almost 65000 fans...and it's always a sea of black & gold in the stands.
Sorry, your logic of 95% don't hold up. Oh and our fans don't leave the stadium until the final play, unlike other teams in the AFC North. When their teams are losing bad, they leave--sometimes in the 3rd quarter.

Because they are both CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS...something Cincinatti knows nothing about

That's alright. I'm a Cowboy fan as well. Embrace the Hate.
