agree....I can live with the Pats losing (and admit the Giants played great tonight, they deserved it)...but those whiny old Dolphins, I just wish they'd fade away.
Well, April 8th is opening day at Fenway Park....
Hear! Hear!...Everyone respects a classy winner and a gracious loser! Are The Dolphins still in The NFL? Haven't heard much about them until last night's game
Its a good commerical, I respect the Dolphins for what they did and I got no problem with the rest of them. I just wish Mercury Morris would just shut up and ESPN would quit giving him a chance to a talk.
That commercial is FANTASTIC! I laughed myself off the couch when they showed it after the game! I don't care how much the Dolphins talk as long as everyone shuts up about Tom Brady and the freaking IM-perfect Patriots! Go Giants!
...but as it has often been said, and as The Pats learned last night, "You cannot live on yesterday's laurels".
Very true. And the Dolphins of today are not the ones of 72. I think they know that losing all those games consecutively. But it still proves that what they did back then was pretty amazing.
And yes I agree, it was a great game. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire second half!
The Dolphins would win one and the Patriots would lose one.
I think the Patriots could have avoided this. They should have just lost to the Dolphins at the end there and rallied from that. They would have had to sacrifice that coveted 19-0!
19-0 Let's talk about it for a minute; First of all, I feel for ya Chowds. I do. I really do. As a Bronco Fan, I know all about the Monday Super Bowl Loss Hangover. I've endured four of them. I'm an expert that way. When I say Chowds, I don't mean bandwagon Sox fans. I mean true New England Patriots of Foxboro, Massachusetts fans. I also feel for the team. Except maybe for BB.
Who I blame for all of your pain is not the New York Football Giants. Not the players. Not the players for sure. Not Tom Brady. Tom Brady didn't lose the game. He got knocked on his can about 45 times... and got up and damn near pulled it off.
No. The Patriots didn't lose the game. The Giants just came in and took it away.
To rub this in to the Chowds is just wrong. I mean, maybe a little bit of razzing. Nothing out of the ordinary; Hey BB, do you LIKE APPLES? Oh, you do? WELL HOW BOUT DIM APPLES? BAUCK! You know, that kind of stuff.
But I'm talking about the dreaded Hatriots! Those that so hate BB and Tom Brady and the arrogant Patriots and Baston and so on and so on.
What you guys really hate is the MEDIA. The same media that brought us Mark McGuire v. Sammy Sosa brought us 19-0. Think about it. If the Pats would have just conveniently dropped one game along the way to the playoffs, this whole debacle would have never happened.
Now the Giants won. So let Billicheat and Spygate and Ramgate and 19-0 and 18-1 just go away. Media! Let it go...drop it...It's over. You lost. You didn't get your 19-0 to rant about for the next 6 months.
All that's left is some happy Giants (and fans- congrats to yous) and some Chowds with the Monday flu.
Miami is popping the the cork off the champagne bottles tonight as the "72 Dolphins mystique rolls on as the only undefeated team, this was set up by the New York Jets defeat over the Tennessee Titans who was the only undefeated until being defeated today by 34-13
