Are pro teams, including football teams directly selling their tickets to outfits like StubHub? (games, seats)

Just seems that it is going on since, a lot of these outfits, advertise how they can get tickets to the fans, like a scalper can (which is still illegal in a lot of states).
I just mentioned it since it seems, like in Seattle, the few tickets, like maybe not even 5k that were available to the public, sold out in minutes. Wonder if these outfits are buying the tickets and are in cahoots with the teams.
NO.. at least not for games like this. The demand is sooo high, they don't have to. Now that doesn't mean that StubHub or other outfits like them don't have a few hundred season tickets for each team of their own.
That would be part of the business plan. PUrhcase a 100 season tickets for said team and then resell them on your site for a premium and at the same time offer a place for other season ticket holders to sell their tickets.. I know a few regular joes that have a dozen or more season tickets to their favorite team and only use 2 per home game and sell the remainder on Stub hub.. for a profit.
Seems that there's some way to stop resale companies from buying hundreds of season tickets, if the teams really wanted to, but they're not doing so.
I think that would be hard to police.. even if they put a limit on the number of seats one person could purchase, said companies would simply use employees names spouses or parents, etc. to purchase season tickets.
