I voted Wisenhunt and Lewis. Both are clowns.

^^Yeah, especially Lewis. No playoff wins. Wisenhunt was just awful for Tennessee. I also think Greg Schiano is a joke as well for Tampa Bay as well as Joe Philbon for Miami. As I said Philbon's a great offensive coordinator but he's a horrible head coach.

Steve Spagnuolo for the Rams was pretty bad. He went 1-15 in his first year for the team. He's in his second term as defensive coordinator for the Giants. He's a great defensive coordinator but an such an awful awful head coach. In fact his 1-15 record matches Cam Cameron's record in his first year with Miami. These are the two coaches that I know that went 1-15 in their rookie seasons for a franchise.

Marc Trestman is definitely a joke for Chicago. I couldn't stand Josh McDaniels at Denver as I was glad when the Broncos fired that idiot. I can't stand Bill O'Brien, especially after getting into a heated argument with Tom Brady. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...68RxMyTPIVzRAg

Rod Rust, 1990 New England Patriots.

Like a lot of guys, he was a good coordinator (defensive coordinator in Rust's case), but not a good head coach.

I do think that most of these modern day head coaches are horrible.

Well the only other person to vote on the poll for Lovie Smith as one of the worst coaches is Nodpete.

He was mentioned by Carolina Knight. Spurrier, along with Bobby Petrino, Greg Schiano, Lou Holtz, Chip Kelly, Bill Peterson, and Nick Saban are all successful college coaches that were bad NFL head coaches. I personally believe that Alabama is were Saban belongs. At least Kelly led the Eagles to one playoff appearance. The rest of those coaches did not.
