Da ****?

Didn't they JUST extend his contract?

That's a Cleveland level move there. Extend his contract and fire him. So, you gotta pay him.

Listen, he deserved to be fired, but extending his contract was just dumb. Even though it was at the start of the year.

Hue is the big question mark for me.. If they go winless and RG3 plays like he did yesterday.. He's gone. You can make the excuses that he has no talent on the team (And that's a good excuse) but, he's supposed to be a QB guru, and was supposed to turn RG3 around.. RG3 sucked in the opener, sucked in his first game back.. If he continues to suck, and I have little doubt he will.. And they go 0-16.. I'm now leaning towards Hue being shown the door.

They did but they didn't say why Fisher was fired. My guess is a losing season But again, don't get me wrong here, but Jeff Fisher's team was undisciplined this year under him. And you are right that it was stupid to extending his contract. Why in Mike's name would you extend a coach's contract only later to fire that coach? Just unbelievable. I've never seen this type of thing happen.

Fisher was most likely extended before the season started or shortly after it started and they were 3-1. For some reason they didn't announce it. Then a few weeks ago it got leaked. My guess is they were trying to keep it hush hush so they could just fire him without people knowing they just extended him earlier this year.

I read back and it was confirmed that they extended him before the season.. But, still.. Apparently everyone but the Rams basically knew he was going to be fired. or at least felt he should be fired.

Who's the next set of dumbasses to give him a shot?

He had 2 years left on his current deal.. This year and next year.. You extend the contract after this year, before next if there's any chance at all he won't be around. Unless he's Parcells, Gibbs, Belichek or similar, there was no need to extend the contract before this year.

Gus Bradley was fired from Jacksonville today. I mean he was just flat-out awful as head coach for the Jags.

In theory, they have enough talent that they should be able to attract someone decent to be HC. Unlike Cleveland, which I am now really thinking will fire Jackson due to a second pretty bad game form RG3 and suspecting that there'll be 2 more.

The Jags need a Larry Bowa type.. Baseball analogy there, but someone who brings order and discipline to the team. Commandant Coughlin style guy.

^^ The thing is, Jags are undisciplined. They need a coach that can bring discipline to the team. Hopefully they can fix that issue.

To be honest, Kelly is not a good NFL coach. If he coaches again, he's gonna go back to college coaching.
