OK here is an observation.
The NFC is left between the Seahawks and the Packers. While the Patriots and the Broncos look to round out the AFC.
Of the four potential Super Bowl combos, 3 would be rematches: Packers have played both the Patriots and the Broncos, and the Seahawks have played the Broncos. That leaves the Seahawks vs the Patriots as the only potential original super bowl. (Which the cat predicted at the onset of the season) Otherwise, this years Super Bowl will have a 75 % chance of being a rematch of a prior Super Bowl.
That is of course assuming that the Colts don't somehow get.....
Colts are taking it to the Broncos, who may need a dramatic come-from-behind finish to pull it out. Seems unlikely the way the Colts have been playing them. No SB rematch.
This is the great thing about sports. The unpredictability. I'm surprised to see the Colts winning at Denver.
