He has been playing great but will they take into consideration the team doesn't have a winning record and the MVP is notoriously QB friendly. Of course, I'm for Rodgers, biased but no secret there.

I love Aaron too, but they need to keep this bias to the side here. The MVP should be about individual effort, not the win-loss ratio of their team.
The Cowboys would be 4-12 without Romo, the Packers would be the same without Rodgers..
What would the Texans record be without JJ Watt? 4-12... 2-14 ? hard to say but we do know that with JJ Watt, they were still not good enough to make the NFL playoffs... and that's what will be his undoing in the MVP voting...
That's why players on losing or mid pack teams teams don't get much recognition because its hard to gauge their true VALUE!
That being said, Watt will get some votes but I think the award already has Aaron Rodgers name on it and probably did before the season even began...
the key word is valuable... Watt will get some votes but I think the award already has Aaron Rodgers name on it and probably did before the season even began...
And this is the issue at hand. Too bad JJ didn't have a proper "Discount Double Check"!
JJ is great, no doubt... But there are several major categories for DE's that he doesn't lead in... And he plays on a weak team.
Rodgers leads in almost every major QB category... And has led his team to a first round playoff bye.
You think Matt Flynn would be able to do that for Green Bay? Lol... No.
