This is just a made up media story, she isn't even due for a couple more weeks. If she were due on Sunday, unless she were on her death bed, he plays. She even stated that if she were to go into labor, she wouldn't tell him, he has a job to do...
This topic is stupid. I don't even have a kid and I know the answer is with the kid. He's already played in and won a Super Bowl, how many kids is he going to have??
His decision for sure but if I were in a similar predicament it wouldn't be close. The birth of my kid over the Super Bowl no question about that. Priorities!
Mr. Sherman has a contract and an obligation to his team, employer, the fans, etc. Face it, missing the birth of your child happens all the time. Soldiers, and many others have responsibilities, and the necessity of earning money to pay for the child. He better play if he knows what's good for him.
Soldiers, could be in combat or in another country, totally different story.
She is due in 2 weeks? The baby could be early. He may be able to do both! Babies do tend to have a mind of their own. (Unless she is having a C-section.) The baby will probably decide to be born at half time. What a joy for the parents.
Good luck, mom and pop and oh yeah, being the die hard Bronco fan that I am; I say go Seahawks!! Brady and company are making me a little ill. Bye for now!!
His gf knew what she was getting into when she started dating a football player. If she gets mad at him for missing the birth of his child (which is unlikely to happen tomorrow), I'm sure she won't get mad at all the money he brings in, including whatever bonus he makes for winning the Super Bowl.
