The NFL didn't say maybe. It said probably. Big difference. And if this were a civil trial with a preponderance standard, it would probably be good enough.
Read the texts here. Brady apparently complained about the balls and specifically how inflated they were.
This is just ridiculous. Brady even gave McNally two autographed footballs and an autographed jersey, likely as payment for services rendered. The NFL report is far far too kind to them.
If it's true and they did deflate the ball, it's cheating. Cheating isn't winning. Never will be.
