Per Adam Schefter, the Giants signed WR Brandon Marshall to a 2 year deal.
He's agreed to the 2 year contract. He'll sign tomorrow as no free agent is allowed to sign with another team until the league year official starts (which is tomorrow at 4pm.)
That being said, the Giants seem to be making the old Redskins off season formula work.
I already thought OBJ was too much of a personality for the Giants and to add Marshall, unless he's drastically changed but somehow find that very hard to believe.

I personally think Marshall may be an effective teammate to quell some of OBJs antics. Marshall comes across as someone (based on recent interviews) who has taken necessary steps to get his head right after all the drama in Denver and may be able to help Odell do the same.
Sounds good, hope it works. I remember him on the Bears and he was demonstrative, very unhappy when he didn't get the ball! However, we are talking the Bears and Cutler so that plays into it, too!

Yeah, we'll see. That's going to be make for an interesting Duo. If they both start acting out, that can really cause a distraction. If they compliment each other, that could be dangerous for the rest of the NFC East.
I am sure the Giants are hoping they get the good Marshall, he is a good guy, but he does have that short fuse at times. Question is will he and OBJ play nice and share like good little boys???
I have to think that the Giants told Marshall going in that a) You are NOT the #1 option on this team in the passing game, but you could still see lots of opportunities; and, b) We need you to be on your best behavior. This team has enough personalities, spokesmen and leaders. Get in where you fit in.
The Giants re-signing G John Jerry to a 3 year deal was also interesting, since I know he isn't the worse OL around, but I would think that is a position they would be looking to upgrade. Recent signee DJ Fluker could possibly play Jerry's spot.
