I'm in no state of despair. I was disappointed for the rest of the evening ( on the day of the Super Bowl ), and then I got over it. Life is way too short to spend time despairing over the loss of a meaningless ( in the grand scheme of things ) game. Like you Beowulf, I have no upset concerning my perceived over-emphasis on winning, just a desire to change it. I've already moved past it. I celebrate the game itself, appreciating the efforts of winners and losers alike. My hat's off to the GIANTS....they played a great game. I applaud the Patriots for their efforts too. But thanks anyway for the consolation.

Baseball season is almost upon us...time to celebrate. Spring is in the air!

^ Sounds good, NAR! Besides MLB starting to warm up, the NBA and NHL are nearing playoff season.

Makes me sick.

Well without the pic, the post made no sense. I believe it was a pic of Brian Billicheat with his 3 rings on his fist on his "Wheaties" box. You guys have seen it I'm sure. Visualize in your mind's eye the cr infringed photoshoped pic if you will... I don't understand why Photobucket didn't pic it up as an infringement. Maybe there's a better place to store photos.

Well the season is about to kick off and I still hate the Patriots! Go Dolphins!

I am curious to see how well the Patriots can recover from the sting of their BIG defeat. Let the new season begin!

The Pats have been perfect so far this year ... as in 0 wins in the pre-season. Yes, I know it's only pre-season, but 0-4 is not something teams aspire to in the summer.

Pre-season means about as much as voting for Obama, George McCain, or any other pre-packaged candidates!

All season long, Eli Manning proved only that he isn't as good as his father or his brother. But to give credit where credit is due: he stepped up and played the game of his life in the Super Bowl. Still, if the Patriots and Giants played each other ten times, New England would win nine of those games. Super Bowl '08 was just one of those things.
