I went a pathetic 9-7 in Week 1. 0-1 on the Thursday game, 7-6 on Sunday's games, and 2-0 on Monday's games. Despite my awful picking, I couldn't be any more overjoyed after watching my Niners blank the Rams. I did think it'd be a blowout, but I didn't see the shutout coming. Who would've thought the dumpster-fire 49ers would have the largest margin of victory in Week 1? Week 1 sure did have a lot of close games, and there were no games decided by 20+ points until Monday night. Congrats to those of you who had a good week of picking. I have some catching up to do.

Finished 9-7. I rolled the dice on a few picks and lost each time.

I ended up 12-4, probably my best week ever and a total shock. Maniac I picked the Rams, what was I thinking?

11-5 after splitting the MNF games and winning the Sunday night game. That's a pretty good week, but considering how much of a crapshoot Week 1 is that's even beter. Susan, I had the Rams too....and I think most people did as well. Obviously NONE of us were thinking

You're right! I wonder what those St. Louis fans are thinking and will LA fans fill the stands if they lose again?

LOL! The 49ers are a complete dumpster fire, so it's really hard to pick them. I did like what I saw last night. Although I predicted a woodshed beating in my weekly picks, I was just as surprised as anybody. Blaine Gabbert did a great job of executing Chip Kelly's offense, and the defense, especially Bowman, played lights out and shut down Gurley. Of course it was just one game. Unfortunately they're at Carolina next week, so I predict a return to dumpster-fire status. I think this Kaepernick controversy has brought the team together in a way. He was alienated from the team last season, so it was nice to see him embrace his teammates on the bench prior to the game. Hopefully Gabbert continues playing well and Kaepernick can stay kneeling on the bench.

10-6 for me Week 1. Not terrible, but I like to get more than 10.

12-4 for the first week -- beginner's luck. It was a great opening week, just too bad the most boring games came on Monday Night Football. (Couldn't believe how poorly the Rams played. Moving west didn't help.)
